SwapPrep is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit a listing, we collect:

• Your name — to identify who is selling
• Your email address — so buyers can contact you
• Instagram handle — optional, for buyer contact
• Item details — name, category, price, condition, description
• Photos — uploaded images of your item
• Payment methods — e.g. Venmo, Cash
• Meetup location — where to exchange the item on campus

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display your listing on the SwapPrep browse page
• To allow interested buyers to contact you via email
• To improve the SwapPrep platform

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to any third party.

3. Who Can See Your Information

Your listing — including your email address — is visible to anyone who visits swapprep.com. Only submit information you are comfortable sharing with other Hotchkiss students.

4. Data Retention

Listings remain on the platform until removed by SwapPrep administrators. If you want your listing removed, contact us via Instagram @swapprep.

5. Cookies

SwapPrep does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

6. Children's Privacy

SwapPrep is intended for high school students aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page.
